Imogen Cunningham, an American photographer best known for her photography of botanical and nudes.

“… I can’t recreate my feelings about how I happened to do this or that, because a lot of my stuff was done without any motivation, more than just what I call having a good time fooling around.”  – Imogen Cunningham

I couldn’t agree with her more, I love photography. Just do.

Following are 16 camparisons of Imogen Cunningham’s photographs and mine, I would love to let photos speak for themselves.

Each photo is unique and special from its characteristics.

Each photo is worth more than a thousand words.

Comparison 16
Cunningham:   great contrast created by light from a unique
angle, sharp even in shadows, black background to standout the white flowers as
our eyes response to bright color first.

In my photo that I play with a water drop, it is just a water drop.

Comparison 15
Cunningham has her signiture all over her photo, amazing contrast, well used of lighting.  In my photo, I use the color green, grass green is the most restful color, then have a shy ’half’ water drop, a perfect ’waiting’ scene.

Comparison 14
What a beautiful photo by Cunningham, look the details of the leaves.  In my photo, I am very concerned about the details, I use a polarizer filter to bring out my details.

Comparison 13
Totally two different objects, Cunningham gives us this great photo of female body.  I don’t shoot people because I am not capable to capture their beauty, so instead I have a sunset.  In my photo, I am looking for one thing, one thing only, which is the visual impact of the sun.
